Hundreds of people came together Sunday for a poolside brunch and cocktails in celebration of Outfest and the LGBTQ+ community at AT&T’s Big Queer Brunch. The event was held at the Mondrian Los Angeles and was part of the week-long Outfest Film Festival, where LGTBQ stories from around the world are showcased on screen.
Stars in attendance of the brunch included some of the most influential LGTBQ+ and ally names like singer-songwriter Daya, beauty guru Manny MUA, YouTuber Gigi Gorgeous, recording artist Parson James and many more. The AT&T Big Queer Brunch also had special performances by musical duo Cosmos & Creature as well as surprise drag performances by Mayhem Miller, Jasmine Maters and The Vixen. Culturally Obsessed and MUSE TV’s Christine Romero spoke to Manny MUA and Gigi Gorgeous.
Since 1975, AT&T has been a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community. The company was one of the first American corporations to adopt a policy prohibiting discrimination against their employees based on sexual orientation. HBO is the presenting sponsor and AT&T is the grand sponsor of Outfest, which is the leading organization that promotes LGBTQ equality by creating, sharing and protecting queer cinema. Outfest was founded by UCLA students in 1982.
