Eagles of Death Metal will headline The Mint 400 Main Stage on 9th & Fremont Street on Thursday, March 5th, immediately following the AMSOIL Pit Crew Challenge. Eagles of Death Metal is a Southern California rock band from Palm Desert, formed in 1998 by Jesse Hughes and Joshua Homme, and featuring a touring line-up of Hughes (vocals/guitar), Jennie Vee (bass), Jorma Vik (drums), and Joshua Jove (guitar). Their music has been described as “desert rock, punkabilly, blues rock, garage punk, and rockabilly-metal.”
Their set is to take place Thursday, March 5th, Eagles of Death Metal will make a stop in Las Vegas for The Mint 400 before embarking on a tour of New Zealand and Australia in April. The band got their first taste of Mint 400 dust when they performed at a VIP party at Bunkhouse Saloon in 2018.
“EODM are guaranteed to burn the mustaches off of everyone at the show,” said Mint 400 CEO, Matt Martelli. “Rock and roll is part of the DNA of off-road culture. That show in 2018 was one of the most fun times I’ve had at a Mint 400 party. We are stoked to have them back at The Mint, this time to play in front of thousands of our fans.”

The Mint 400 is the oldest and most prestigious off-road race in America. Held annually in March, over 550 race teams in 80+ classes compete for two days on a grueling 400-mile course in the desolate foothills of Las Vegas. The festival events draw 65,000 off-road enthusiasts from around the world, while the Livestream is beamed to hundreds of thousands of race fans. The Mint 400 is “The Great American Off-Road Race”!
