I first saw “Come to Daddy” when it screened at Beyond Fest at the Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles last September. I immediately fell in love with the film and if our paths have crossed in the last five months since I saw it, you’ve undoubtedly heard me go on and on and on about its genius. I am incredibly ecstatic that “Come to Daddy” is being released theatrically and on VOD beginning Feb. 7th, 2020. I am even more ecstatic that I was able to interview director Ant Timpson just a few days ago. To put it simply Ant is amazing. “Come to Daddy” is truly a special film and wonderfully unique. It is terrifying, furiously funny, and incredibly heartfelt. Basically, “Come to Daddy” is soon to be your favorite film of 2020. Elijah Wood stars as Norval Greenwood and is insanely brilliant. The whole cast is phenomenal. Michael Smiley, Stephen McHattie, and Martin Donovan all give exceptional performances. Writer Toby Harvard is beyond extraordinary and crafts some of the best and most memorable dialogue I’ve heard in ages. Ant Timpson has created a truly remarkable film that is unlike anything you’ve seen before. “Come to Daddy” is a true gift to any film enthusiast. Watch our interview with Ant below.
